When This Error Appears
The error displays when you attempt to push rehire information for a previous employee from an applicant tracking system to isolved HCM.
It indicates the previous employee needs a valid termination date and/or must be marked for rehire in isolved HCM.
It commonly appears when the termination date is missing or the employee is not marked as a rehire before starting the rehire process.
Resolve The Error
Follow the steps below to correct employee status in isolved HCM and refresh your applicant tracking system so the push succeeds.
Step 1: Verify prior employment details in isolved HCM
Confirm the prior employment includes a completed termination with a valid termination date.
Ensure the employee is marked for rehire in isolved HCM.
Save your changes in isolved HCM before returning to your applicant tracking system.
Step 2: Refresh your applicant tracking system
Open the candidate’s Onboarding tab.
Select the Refresh Cache button in the upper-right to immediately pull the latest data from isolved HCM.
Attempt the rehire push again after the refresh completes.
Important: If you do not select Refresh Cache, the information will update on the next auto-sync between systems.
Reporting/Troubleshooting/Best Practices
Recheck the employee’s prior record in isolved HCM to confirm the termination date is present and the employee is marked for rehire; then save changes.
Return to your applicant tracking system and select Refresh Cache again before retrying the push.
If you recently made changes in isolved HCM and the error persists, wait for the next auto-sync or perform another Refresh Cache to ensure the latest data is used.
